To commemorate the LIVESTRONG foundation’s most important cycling fundraiser, the RIDE FOR THE ROSES—an annual ride in its 12th year whose participants raise a minimum of $10,000 each to benefit the organization’s fight against cancer—Supertouch has paired the event’s frontman LANCE ARMSTRONG with artist SHEPARD FAIREY to create some imagery worthy of the challenge. An extremely limited-edition poster bearing Shepard’s rendition of Lance on a recent training run for the Tour de France 2009 has been screened as a gift for attending riders at the Austin event while seven handmade fine art renditions of the image signed by both Lance and Shepard will be auctioned off on eBay to benefit the charity at the event’s conclusion on October 26th.

Following his commissioned poster designs for the OBAMA Campaign’s VOTE FOR CHANGE initiative last month, THUNDERDOG STUDIOS head designer TRISTAN EATON has put his energy into a last minute push for the Democratic contender with a new campaign poster and ballot box character. Designed as a reminder for registered voters to actually show up and cast their ballot for Obama on November 4th, the poster’s image of Barack is made up entirely of icons relevant to his personal history and political messaging, while the new ballot box character is a downloadable paper cut out figure that fans can assemble and leave in their cubicle as a daily voting reminder. And, just for fun, Eaton has customized a TRACKSTAR fixed gear bike with his Obama graphics, which will be sold to generate funds for the campaign in its final week. All political posters and materials are available at the dedicated THUNDERVOTE.COM site.

Skateboard P makes sure the chair color matches his Ferrarri key… As if being one of the world’s foremost music producers, trendsetting fashionistas, streetwear entrepreneurs, ladykillers, and Louis Vuitton designers wasn’t enough, the starmaking PHARRELL “SKATEBOARD P” WILLIAMS has now added high-end modern furniture design to his extensive resume with the official debut of his “Perspective” chairs at GALERIE EMMANUEL PERROTIN in Paris this week. A seat supported with the legs of both a man and a woman, the “Perspective” chair was created to resemble a street-level view of a couple in the midst of getting it on, is rendered in slick acrylic, and available in four colors with the choice of leather, incredibly un-PC veal skin, or velour leather for the seating material. Priced well out of reach of Pharrell’s loyal legion of young streetwear zombies (the chairs cost a wee bit more than the most expensive pair of Bapes), these pricey walkers are sure to be the furniture of choice for a new wave of rap videos to come.

UK artist James Cauty presents his latest exhibition of work titled Splatter at The Aquarium in London. Taking those nostalgic childhood memories of Warner Bros. cartoon characters, Cauty gives us a violent yet accurate representation of what would’ve really happened had Tom & Jerry been on HBO. Have a look for yourselves!

This artwork is from a designer who submitted it to a contest Yeezy was having (how we didnt hear about it idk??) but its a dope cover what do you think?
