I have two unhealthy obessions with denim & camo print. All types of camo print and a bunch of different denim products. So naturally I saw this video and thought it was something worth sharing with the fellow denim connoisseur. This web series is called Put This On Directed by Adam Ligasor & Hosted by Jesse Thorn. This specific episode focuses on denim, how to shop for it, care of it, how its made, etc. Below is the YouTube video but I also included the Vimeo link which is much better in quality. Enjoy.

One of our favorite groups is The Swedish House Mafia, and its to no surprise that with there success over the last few years someone had to have the cameras rolling to document the journey. The Documentary is titled “Take One” and will be released in November.
Heres they’re trailer just for a sneak peak into they’re world……

The 2010 House Smash hit remixed by Yolanda Be Cool got there sample from the Italian singer Renato Carosone,
Carosone was born in Naples. He studied piano at his hometown’s Conservatory and obtained his diploma in 1937, when he was just 17. He soon signed a contract as a band leader for a tour of Africa. After that job, he ended up in Addis Ababa working as a pianoplayer. In a short while he became quite famous there and had several gigs as band leader. He returned toItaly only in 1946, after the end of World War II.
Those ten years spent abroad had exposed him to new rhythms and new sounds, but, in spite of his international success, Carosone was a stranger to the Italian audience. He had to start his career afresh, playing the piano in some small dance-hall bands.
