Pepsi x Billboard Summer Beats Concert Series

Last Week Wednesday night, Pepsi and Billboard hosted the third installment of the Summer Beats concert series at New York’s Gotham Hall, where a wall at the entrances allowed guests to contribute their own messages, drawings, and signatures. Graffiti-style designs by Artkek Creative surrounding the series’ logo served as the eye-catching starting point, which attendees added to throughout the event.

Andy Warhol x Campbell’s Soup Cans

The Campbell’s Soup company will be releasing some limited edition (albeit 1.2 million of them) cans inspired by Andy Warhol’s imagery to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Warhol’s iconic 32 Campbell’s Soup Cans. Approved by the Andy Warhol Foundation, these new cans will be available starting Sunday at your local Target stores at 75 cents each.

This week, Steve “ESPO” Powers (featured) will be kicking off art season with a new body of work at Joshua Liner Gallery. The show entitled A Word is Worth A Thousand Pictures is Power’s first New York solo exhibition in over seven years. The Brooklyn-based artist has been busy the past few years with a number of high profile projects such as Art in the Streets, as well as the Love Letters Project in Philly, Syracuse and Brooklyn.

Meet the Designers: Morning Breath
Join us for a discussion with designers Doug Cunningham and Jason Noto, proprietors of Morning Breath, a boutique studio in Brooklyn, New York. The two first met while working in the design department of Think Skateboards in San Francisco, and since then, their work has gradually grown beyond designing skate and snowboard graphics to include music packaging, apparel, posters, and advertising. At this event, moderated by Julian Alexander of Slang Inc., learn how Morning Breath has become one of the most talked-about design studios in the business.
